Busy

Life has been super busy. Plus I have no inspiration for Blogging right now. I could blog about our falling economy or the horrible race for president. The world seems grim right now. I Know God is in control but things are sure sliding south. Everything is expensive and people are loosing their standard of living. The days of buying everything on credit are going away. The American people have not lived that way in long time.

School is back in session

We started school this week. We have transfered to a new school. It's a little bigger and has more to offer. Tink's good friend also transfered so Tink is happy about that. Here are some first day of school pictures

Tired

I am tired of problems. I am tired of figuring out how to fix problems. I want to be independently wealthy so at least I wouldn't have money problems. I want to be able to fix my house, buy a new to me car and live without money worries. I want to be debt free and live the way God wants. I want to be able to stick my kid in multiple sports without worry about cost. I want to be able to save money without some major event happening. I want to be financial strong is that to much to hope for? Will I ever gain my hearts desires ? Do I need them?

Life

Tink's ear is infected. This is the second time. She and I have decided no more earrings for awhile. Lucky girl got her mama's sensitive ears. It is not worth it to me to torture her so she can look cute with earrings.
In other news, I am not sure if I have a sinus infection or really bad allergies. My whole face hurts. I am constantly blowing my nose and sneezing. Our doctor retired this year and I haven't hunted down a new one. However if I don't improve soon I might have to find a new doctor.
Also I got a new tool yesterday. It is a shark steam mop. It is the coolest thing it uses regular tap water to clean floors. It dries instantly so no wet floor to slip on. It comes with reusable pads that can be washed. We all tried it out. Tink loved using it.
Finally today Tink and I made sun catchers in the oven. When I went to make dinner tonight everything seemed fine with the oven. I didn't see plastic crystals from the sun catcher in the oven or anything to indicate that we made sun catchers today. I stuck our dinner in the oven to bake. When I went back to check on dinner it was pink. Sun catcher pink. Dinner was ruined. First time I ever ruined dinner.
We ended up going out for dinner because it was to late to start something else. When we got home we turned on the self cleaning option on the oven to get rid of any lingering sun catcher crystals.

Popcorn

We were out of microwave popcorn . Tink really wanted some popcorn. I had some of the air pop kind. So I hauled out the air popper we haven't used for awhile ( like 6yrs) (The popcorn wasn't that old though I just bought it at the store) I told Tink this is how we use to make popcorn when Mommy was little. Tink says, "you mean in the olden days when there were cavemen". Thanks kid ya really know how to make Mommy feel good. The neat thing about this whole experience was Tink was fascinated by the process. She had never had air popped popcorn so it was completely new. Another thing that was surprising was how different it tastes from microwave. It also has a different texture . It was drier and less chemically tasting if that makes any sense. It was fun though to try something different.

disneyland

Disneyland was really fun for the most part. Tink was super excited to meet all the characters. We did 90% of Disneyland and about 5% of California adventure. We ran out of time for California Adventure. Tink went to Jedi school (a fun show that is in Tomorrowland) She met a lot of the princesses. We rode most of the rides. The only ride she didn't like was Space Mountain. Which is scary because of all the twists and turns in the dark. Hubby loved it though. Hubby hasn't been to Disneyland since he was 5 so in a lot of ways it was like the first time for him. We had a great adventure. Only downside is there is so much walking and Tink sprained her toes before she left home. So she was having trouble walking. We can't wait to go again.
